In addition to his work in the business world, Bettencourt is actively involved in his local community. He serves on the board of directors of the Greater Seacoast Community Health Center and is the vice-chair of the Hampton Falls Planning Board. He is also involved in several charitable organizations, including the Hampton Falls Recreation Committee, the Hampton Falls Historical Society, and the Hampton Falls Senior Center.
